The Wanted Poster Archives are the closest thing Detritus City has to a census. While the Archives create posters for known criminals, anyone can register for their very own wanted poster, as long as they claim to have committed at least one crime. The definition of "crime" is very loose. The Archives will print and hang your Wanted Poster around the city for a reasonable fee.
The Wanted Poster Archives were founded by a group of supervillains saddened by the fact that since there was no law enforcement in Detritus City, no one would make wanted posters for supervillains. Technically, nobody actually "wants" the villains shown on these posters. Since the Archives were founded, supervillains have instead used them to make sure they do not have the same name as another active supervillain.
